well i had that 89 RS that looked like something that a dirty missouri backyard puked out and it was sitting for sale, well some guy calls asking about it. well i will have to say that thing ran like a Z28 or my old IROC but not as fast. but it looked like someone got drunk and puked on it a dozen times. anyways. then he talks to me about a trade and im not really interested till he says its a Dune Buggy, VW style!! i hate foreign cars but i was open minded since my step dad has always wanted one. so i went to check it out and now im the proud owner soon to be seller if i get my way, of a 71 VW Dune Buggy. Well the car runs awesome and its just a huge Go Kart. its one of the nicest ones ive ever seen. the car used to be a beetle i guess its just a 71 frame with a fiberglass body and stuff. Well the fiberglass is red and it done very nice. the interior it grey the seats are nice but the carpet needs alot of work. and the motor is 1600cc's its quick for what is needs to push all 1500lbs of the car + riders. well its a four speed with a hurst shifter, and its has turn signals horn and everything. its my first car with roll bar too. Well i still have the Grand Cherokee and i am thinking to sell the buggy but all my friends say keep it and put some money and time into it and just have fun. it could use an engine rebuild and alot of interior work, and definately some tires but it has corvette wheels thats a plus. well i thought i would post something since i havent since before WWI. tell me what you think, sell or not and NO im not getting another camaro unless it runs 9s. my next camaro will be a 2002 SS but it will most likely be a WS6 Ram Air instead and by then they will be 5 years old. thanks for your time.
