The car had limo tint 5% on the hatch and 50% on the sides when I bought it. It was peeling pretty bad on the hatch near the top. Ever single thirdgen I've seen has tints that are bubbling/peeling near the top of the hatch. This way..it's cleeean.

Not even close Mike. Just work a lot..always have since I was 16. I've got a good source for momo stuff. They are authentic momo wheels/shifters, etc brand new in the box with the plastic on them and instructions.
Let me know if you're interested, he has a bunch of them. Performance Improvements has the adaptors (#2401) in stock for $75.

Thanks for the compliments on the car! I do all the work myself. The car hasn't seen a mechanic since I bought it in 1997.

Thats a nice car Steve. In my town and my college town of Carbondale, IL, I rarely ever see GTA's. Camaros dominated my area. I don't like the design of T-tops. I wish GM could have made our cars with targa tops like Supras, Porsches, and NSXs. I like the cleaner look of the one piece targa. If my Firebird had T-tops I probably would not complain about them until they started to leak. Hey Steve, have you ever been a fan of those Anniversary Trans Ams with the blue wheels and strips. Since you have a white car I think it would be cool if you had blue metallic painted GTA wheels with matching strips. So far I have never seen that done on a thirdgen. I have seen it on a secondgen with the rally wheels.

Well, I'm not touching the paint for a while. Interesting idea though. I may be selling the car in September though. Looking to buy a house in a couple years and will need the extra $

When you sell your car and get a house, will you buy another thirdgen? I would not buy another thirdgen unless it was one of those 1989 turbo Trans Ams. I wish GM had not dismantled the tooling and production on those engines because it was potent and efficient.
