What do you think of my Trans Am drawing.
I used the 85-90 TA as a starting point. Heres what I did. Lowered and flaired ground effects, 4th gen wing with no middle pedestals, larger fender air extractor, flush door handle, 4th gen style wing with only 2 pedestals, low profile domed cowl hood, clear turn lights, and of course a front clip with 98 TA styling cues. Sorry no rear pic. So what do you think of my drawing concept? I'm planning on doing a Camaro one as well with front and rear views. Any suggestions for that one?

Hood- I like
Rims- I hate
Wing- Its okay
Front clip- not too bad
It looks too much like a 4th gen though.

Very nice, even if the front clip is a little "*****" lol. It looks great as-is, but I think different wheels might make it look a little better. Now, if you REALLY want to impress someone, bust out the fiberglass and make it

That looks awesome.. I like it! The ground effects are similar to the Camaro ground effects that I modified and put on my firebird.. you'd just have to flare them out a bit more and you'd get something pretty close. It might be tough to do the front end though.
looks freeking amazing I love everything bout it, someone get a freeking gfx company to make that kit cause its reeks of awesomness.:hail: :hail: :hail: :hail: I say $500 for the hood, $275 form the front end and $250 for the wing. Its just too SWEEEEEEEET, 4life brother!

i know that erebuni in new york (brooklyn) does custom work...kind of along the lines of my front clip...although its kinda pricey...you can go to their website www.erebuni.net there is a faq page and itll tell you how to learn if theyll do a custom "entire" kit for your car..circumstances like car colour, year condition of the car and such are all part of their decision... but try it out and see what they say...i had thought of getting one done for my cavalier b4 i found the one razzi made www.razzi.com
good luck

Thanks for the feedback. I am surprised that so many of you like it. I designed that one for myself. If I designed it for you guys the styling would be less aggressive and the wheels would be something like the Firehawk wheels. I will post a Camaro drawing sometime next week. It is going to be designed the way I would like my Camaro to look if I owned one.
iroc2nv, of course its going to be pricey, They would be making a one off prototype for your car, which means that the company would have to make a new mold just for your car. The prototype is always more expensive than ones that are mass produced. If I had a v8, even the 305 (tpi) I would definately do it.

i like it. pretty cool. if ya look at the front, it kinda looks like it's grinning, thinking "here honda honda" not a big fan of the rims, BUT the 18 or 19" iroc wheels from performance wheel outlet would be BAD A$$ on that. and a different color too maybe, not big on the pastels. maybe a vibrant deep purple? or a copper-orange?

(I think maaco did the color change because they forgot the door jams and seem to have missed a few spots

Don't like the ram air, it needs some sick Budnik or B. Coddington wheels on it, try these colors: medium blue, metallic white, and Burgundy

Me likes, but you forgot the mirror conversion & fangs
Seriously, you got some good stuff going on up there, I really like it. I would try and design some custom vents for the fenders though. Update the look a bit. What would you do to the rear bumper?
I will have to knock some ideas around with you when I get some serious time to design my nose. I can't draw the stuff straight out, but I can play with existing ideas. If we can, Joe and I will try and make the nose for my car. If it goes well we could make others.

Looks good in a cartoon drawing i could only imagine how BAD@SS that would look in real life.....
No Ram Air and the IROC's look WAY out of place.......
Red with chrome rims would be the best combo IMO

That's one damn sweet lookin' front end...I would buy one of those!
I think the smaller version of the ram air hood would look bad a.. , and make the car burgandy or platinum with some gold GTA rims and you would have an awesome ride there.

i'm surprised no one likes the ram air, odd, i figured it would be a hit! oh well everyone is different. i still think 18" chrome iroc wheels from performance wheel outlet would be killer to compliment the look. to each his (or her redraif!) own
