is the 91-92 z28 hood different than a regular flat SC one? it looks like i can just cut a couple square holes in my hood and the blisters will fit fine but i'm not sure

 

no it wont fit because the hoods have like indentions or whatever in them that the blisters and louvers sit in. If you just tried to bolt them on your hood you could see the sides of the louvers and it will look stupid.

 

I know that the GM production blisters will not fit, because the hood is basically an IROC hood, but with blisters instead of louvers. However there are a couple company's who do make aftermarket blisters that will fit on flat hoods. I bought a set from www.eastcoastcustoms.com for $75, i think they run about $100 from their site because i bought mine at a car show for a show price. The blisters are not 100% exact to the GM ones, but they look great, and they are fiberglass, the only pic i have with them on is of the side of my car, i'll try to get ya a better one if your interested.
