OK...need some help on decisions

Alright guys.....I need some help on deciding what to do next to the ol' camaro.....

I'm contemplating the following options....

1. Get a Ram Air 2 hood
2. Get a SS Hood
3. Get Autometer Gauges, tach, lower 1.8 inches

gauges and lowering, i am affraid that a cool looking hood would make your car look tacky because of the wing. the way it is now it looks pretty nice, even that spoiler ain't that shabby, but a hood with esxtra lines would disrupt the whole look. the gauges are actually useful, and the lowering kit would definately compliment the car, and give it a racey stance.

That's what I was thinking. But I would rather have the hood.

I agree with these guys, but if you go with a hood get the Ram Air 2. It's curves would better go with the look of you car. The SS hood gives it a more straight out muscle car look while your car has more of a custom street look going with the wing and rims. Just my 2 cents

I'd go with the SS hood...I personally love the RA II hood, but not on Camaros...its too distinctively Pontiac.

oooooh so right, thats exactly what i was thinking. the ss hood is too macho manly for the car though. your car has a finesse about it, especially that deep green. looks like it could cut through the tarmac and zig like no tomarrow. adding a straight-line charging hood like a drag car kind of clashes with the whole thing. i say keep with the touring-look. lower it for sure. as for the hood, ever considered the little louvres on there? they are level with the hood, but add style because lets face it, who likes a plain hood? maybe in your investments in gauges, you could get the ones that are outside of the windsheild mounted on the cowl/hood? just a thought, i think your car is perfect for it.

If it were mine, I'd go with a cowl induction hood...they're more Chevy oriented, and the larger scoop area would balance the rear wing well.

I was thinking that because of the wing my car kind of has a forward moving stance.........and a cowl induction kind of doesn't have that it (IMO) wouldn't go together......that's what i was thinking.......

Would it be possible for someone to photoshop the two hoods on my car or are the pictures on my website at too much of an angle??

I was going to get the Autometer Lunar gauges which GLOW green at night.....

So far the votes say 100% in favor of the SS hood.......

Thanks

YOO!!!!!!!!!! Homieee Whats up brother. Well this is what I think and as you know we have the same car. I would go for the ram air 2 and the lowering thing. Your car with that wing and the rims would look good with that hood.

Lower it and get gauges... I think it would look worse if you added a hood with that wing. Is your car an automatic? If so, I hope you don't get a huge tach unless you actually need it.

The tach i want is the 3 3/8 inch one that is made by Summit......It's kinda small......and it would serve a purpose....

i was wondering if someone could photoshop a hood on my car for me?? Here is a good pic i found of someone elses so i guess it would work............I will also attach a pic of the hood to make it easier if someone wants to.....

Thanks in advance...

If I had to choose between the two hoods only, Id go with the SS hood with that wing.

I think the Ram Air Hood is too much for the Car when the wing and standard spoiler in the back... IMO...

You dont have to get MORE of something that sticks out like a queer in a mall..... get something sleek looking and that really turns heads..... not something that turns heads only to have them shake like a 4 door accord FOR EXAMPLE.............
