am I a *****?
This is what's up. Like you guys know I have a 92 RS. I love that damn car. That is the best car I ever had. On the other hand I have a 94 Toyota Corolla my wife drives. That car never breaks down. I have 18 inch rims on it and it looks sweet. Am I considered a *****??? just wondering.

I'd say no. Unless of course your car is 45 different colors, has the fart cans, and has a Top Fuel wing that sits off the *** end 2 feet in the air. Now if you have these few items, then I'd say yes.
Like someone said, you're not rice unless you think that corolla is gonna smoke your RS with only boltons. And if you ask me, I dont think adding any performance parts to it would make you a *****. I mean if we went by that logic then the 18 inch rims alone would make you a *****. There is no problem with wanting more performance out of your car(s).
If you ask me about ricers, its not the parts they use, its the attitude of the driver. Stereotyping people because of the car they drive is just a never ending circle. You do it to imports and they'll do it back. You call them rice because they have a wing. They'll call you a ******* because you drive a v8. Never ending circle. And the best way to stop a cycle like that is to just be the bigger man and not say anything. Some people will never understand that.

But what if he puts about 100 stickers all over his car?
Would that be rice?
Just kidding, I dont think that having 18's on an import makes it rice. Like Crazy Hawaiian said, a lot of it is attitude. I had a Eclipse that I really liked, but I dont think that I was rice. Just a nice, clean and fast car. My IROC is faster, but costs a lot more in gas. Just my .02 worth. Laters, TL

No, you're not a *****. If I saw the car, I would probably wonder "Why put those on a Corolla?" but it doesn't matter because its not my car

Crazy Hawiian I couldn't agree more.
I'm sick of hearing this is rice, thats rice, everythings rice. Get over it.
I personally don't like imports, that's why I don't drive one. If someone else is happy with a Honda or Toyota thats fine with me. They can have all the stickers and wings they want, who cares!!! I'm happy driving my Camaro, they're happy driving an import. Everybodys happy.

Well, if your'e a *****, I just might be a *******, in spite of the fact that I have all my teeth and wear shoes.
My winter ride is an '84 Ford F-150 4x4. Rusty, dented, high mileage, but it does what I ask of it. Hauls heavy nasty things, plows snow, off-roads pretty good, too. Do some people think I'm a dirtbag when I drive it? Probably, but I tend to think they're narrow-minded snobs who've never had dirt under their nails. (Uh-Oh, I'm starting to rant) Anyway, I don't care what you drive (I'd keep the RS though) just keep that Toyota out of my way, I sometimes get devious thoughts when little cars slow me down. j/k

To me, 18s on a corolla is pushing it. That's way too much bling-bling for my tastes, but as long as you keep the spoiler and stickers off the car, it can't be too bad.

Actually when ever I see a Corolla, Camry, Lexus or the such, ok so the Lexus is in a different class, and they just have some rims on it, nothin else, it's usually a "brother" drivin the car. And doesn't think it will make his car faster like a ***** does, so I don't really care.
good point mark. most of the time it's just a "Brother" that wants to sport some bling-blingin' chrome dubs. Usually they're $1200 wheels on a $200 '89 Civic though. The corolla is a little better.

My fiance drives a 2003 Tiburon, and I love that car- so far. I pondered the same question when I started thinking about putting on some chrome 17's and working with the intake a little. I thought, damn, I'm ricing with a *****. But then I just thought, hell, I have a Firebird in the driveway, and I always will. As long as I have that Firebird- I'm not a *****. If I sell it, yup, I'm a *****.
Note: I will never sell it, and if I do, there would be another one in its place the next day! Moral of the story, don't sell your RS and you'll be fine!
