Should I keep my RS??
I've just been thinking lately about selling my Camaro. (Which Vic wants to buy) I just think that I have too much time, money, and blood put into the RS to get rid of it for $900.
If I did keep the car, I would have to store it for a couple years though, but the body's in good shape, 59,000 miles, and no rust.
What do you guys think?? (I know Vic wants me to sell it!!
lol)

only $900!!! That car looks too good for only $900!! Keep it for awhile and see if you change your mind... Once you sell it, it's to late to change your mind... Thread Starter

I have plans for it. Still the same. 12's on motor and look good. Just don't have the money right now to do it...
$900 is way too low for such a clean ride
, even if it is a rolling chassis with no engine or trans. i'd say don't do it, it's just not worth it ... you'l miss having a car that you cleaned and sweated over to get so pristine, plus it must be really comforting to already know the story of your car - history, quirks, what has been fixed, why, and how. hell that car has less miles than our 98 volvo and we bought it new =/

Pardon me, I'm confused - I thought you had ALREADY sold it to Vic. Anyway, I once sold a car that I wasn't sure I wanted to sell, and I kick myself every time I think about it.
If you do sell it, I wouldn't take $900 for that car, even as a roller, it's way too clean.

No, Vic just said he wants to buy it. Hasnt paid me for it yet. I would like to keep it and down the road (a couple of years) and put a nice LT1 or a 377 carbed engine in it, but I am low on funds for the LeMans, that is why I am considering letting it go.
Not to mention personally I think whats LEFT of the wiring isn't worth a damn and it should all be replaced. Tracing wires under that hood is scary, its been altered by so many different people so many different times... lots of cuts/splices/things that don't do anything anymore/things that weren't there before, wire nuts and electric tape all over the freakin place. No HVAC at all, no exhaust, paint is actually really bad but you can't tell in the pictures, it almost has a sandpaper texture to it. Engine bay and doorjambs don't match the body color, they're still white. Brakes seem to work decent despite pretty much no vacum assist from the crazy *** cammed motor. All stock suspension, Holley red electric fuel pump is still in there... so its still set up for carb. No computer, its in the garage.
I'm just throwing more info out for eveyone.

I still have the same opinion as I did the last time you posted and asked if you should keep it- Keep the car. You put a lot of work into it, enjoy it now.
