My 5 year plan for the RS

More than likely I am keeping the Camaro, but the engine and trans are going to Black85transam. I have some stuff I plan on doing to the car eventually when the :hail: Pontiacs :hail: are done. Probably 5 years depending on income.

Body...A new hood, either a 3 inch cowl or the 1 piece version of the one I have now. Also want to get a dent in the door pulled out. Then color sand the paint and repaint the car and get the engine bay all detailed for the new engine, which leads to...

Mechanical Stuff...I will either put a 454 BBC in with a TH400 and a nine inch with 4.88 gears. If I chose the SBC route I will go to the 377 engine that my engine builder has a "good recipe" for along with a TH350 and 4.56 gears along with some power assister located in the back.

Interior...Plan on gutting most of the interior out, minus dash and 2 front seats. (Gotta impress friends on the back roads!!!) Probably a NHRA approved roll cage. Maybe 8 or 10 point.

So in other words, a drag car that will probably be not too streetable (not to say an occasional cruise wouldnt hurt) but mosty will be trailered to the track.

I have awhile to think about it but if I don't end up selling it, this is what I've wanted for the past 2 years and now I have the truck to tow the car, all I need is money...
