Just returned from Auburn, Indiana. Kruse/Ebay collector car auction. I waxed the batmobile with the formula113 and the beadx. The car is all fiber glass and it was a JOB!!! I waxed it in front of a live crowd of about 5000 people. I had to do a very special job, the paint was not in the best of shape, it was full of swirls and looked liked sheet. ONE COAT! OF THE FORMULA113 AND BAMMMMMM!!!! IT LOOKED LIKE AFLRED SPENT ALL WEEK ON IT IN THE BAT CAVE.

Dean Kruse gave me a big THANK YOU on national television. And my Friend Phil the vice president of MBNA Bank bought the car.

Carol Shelby was there to receive a hall of fame award and to Auction off one of 40 special Cobra,s.


They also sold the LAST CAMARO available to the public, Some bigwig from Chevy was there to over see the sale, the car was shown on a big screen and would be delivered to the nearest dealership in the buyers area.

I thought the board would like to hear that story, by the way the car sold for $70k, any money received over invoice is going to be donated to charity. The new owner of the car will take delivery with mass media coverage real soon.

If he wants to keep the cars value he CAN'T DRIVE IT EVER.

I wish I had the money to buy it, I would have taken it to all the shows.

 

I don't think i could do that............buy a car and not drive it.......what fun is that???

Hey Michael, which batmobile did you get to wax? Was it the '60s TV show one or one of the other movie cars? The '60s and the Keaton batmobiles are my favs.
