Red Powder Coated Stealthram pics

Here are a few quick shots of my Stealthram that I had powder coated red by Spohn Performance. The lighting was pretty crappy, so it's hard to see how glossy this thing really is. I'm going to be getting better pictures later today when I have more time (hopefully ).

Very nice. Spohn sure can powder coat very well. What is the Stealth going to be sitting on top of?

That looks sweet, Hey brad one word of caution, when dropping on the intake, watch out for the mountion bracket on the back of the head. You know the one you got the chain on, I had my RTV and gaskets laid out to put my stealth ram on, and that bracket was in the way, I had to bend it out of the way cause it was hitting the SR it messed up my seal alittle. Now I have to go back and yanked that savage off to reseal it, cause it leaks alittle in the back. Just thought I would give you a heads up. Oh and if your using the fuel rail kit, put some teflon tape around the shraider(spelling) valve. That little savage leaked alittle. But man your engine is looking good.

When i tried getting my miniram powder coated they wanted a minimum of $250! I just took a dremel and polished it. It came out great! I tried to get it red like that similar to the lt4 intake! That looks good man! FLYNLOW92rs, everytime i see the pic in your sig i just want to rip off her panties and go to town, nice!

Is that one of the motors like in the GM High tech performance magazine? You don't have to tell me how much you paid but how much do they go for? They are crate motors, correct?

To answer the questions posted, the powder coating from Spohn runs $175. The engine was a custom tailored short block, not a crate engine. As for what it cost... well... many would say too much . There is sample pricing on Nu-tek's site http://www.nu-tekmotorsports.com

Damm, $175. That what I do Complete TPI units for.

Id charge $120 for HSR's... Still yours looks Good.

Cobrakiller..

This is what I think They look like

Stealth Ram = TISSUE BOX.
SuperRam = Pizza Box.

Either way They are both nice units. Right now Im polishing the SuperRam then its off to get Triple Chrome Plated.

I really gave thoughts to the pro action heads, but in the end I ordered the AFR's from Thunder Racing because they're a tried and true choice and I also support the advertisers whenever possible.

As for racing, it'll probably be a while before I finish getting the engine into the car. I had planned on pulling the engine and transmission this past weekend until I sprained my ankle and was unable to even walk . Even when I get back on track, this is going to be a slow process because I'll only be working on the weekends, and I have to pull the drivetrain, degrease, strip, primer, paint, and then rebuild front end components. THEN I can start the install process. After installation, I have to tune the beast and I'll confess that I am only a novice at PROM burning. So it'll be a while
