Getting My Thirdgen Back Today!!

Sorry, not tech related, but I'm ecstatic, I had to post.

I'm getting my 'bird back, all fixed up! (Some of you may remember... I had a 91 Formula that I drove for two weeks that got me into the thirdgen scene and then had a million things die at once. This has been my only thirdgen.) Well, I sold it to my buddy Jack for a grand, with a 305 TPI with 183k, four bad injectors, bad heater core, bad power brake booster. Well, now, for that grand plus the money he put into it for parts I'm getting it back! (Free labor!) He just wanted the experience of fixing it up, and now he's gotta get it outta his mom's garage. So now I have new Accel injectors all around, new heater core, new power brake booster, new brakes, new plugs, new wires, flushed/filled radiator, bled the brake system and refilled, new oil pan, air filter, and other minor things, all for the price of the parts.

It was so nice to hear my car run again.

Now I need to get an exhaust system (and cat) put on. I'm thinking Hooker.

Here's a few pics from when I got the 'bird the first time.

To keep with the board topic... I had done some detailing to the car earlier that day to improve the appearance in order to take pics.

Hehe, yup. Will change it tonight, when the car is actually in my possession again.

Yup yup... he's a cool guy, always willing to help out.

He's even going to let me make payments on it! So long as he can make his credit card bill since he charged all of the parts, hehe

Well... it's not all fixed up... but it runs again! Hopefully it will run long enough until I have enough cash to throw a 350 in.

Needs cat & exhaust, and a few cosmetic things here and there, plus this stupid problem you may remember. May just need to replace the door right before whenever I decide to have it painted.
