I personally did not like the TA tail lights and traded them for 1991 firebird lights. The middle is supposed to have a light and when the brakes are pressed, the 2 bulbs closer to the outside are supposed to light up. If you like them then good for you! I hope you enjoy them.

Forget the lights, the lights are fine. Get a couple cans of flat black Krylon and paint your wheelwells. The car looks really sharp in the side view, but the red overspray in the wheelwells looks nasty. You'll only spend $5.00 and the car will look much better.

the factory set up is, all three light up when the lights are turned on and the two innermost lights on each side get brighter with the brakes or turn signals. if you want something really cool check out the sequential turn signal kits at this site.
www.webelectricmagazine.com, I put them on my bird and they are very unique IMHO.

I voted to get rid of the eyes because I like long horizontal ligts at night. I like the way the base taillights light up at night, but I don't like the way they look in daylight.

It won't look good in the daytime. Plus they look like Bonneville taillights.

That would work, but i still don't think it would look good since it doesn't flow with the staight trunk line. Too angular.
