Help on Cleaning Rims

Hey my RS rims are startin to look a bit...crappy. I got like light stains, from whut I dont know, and some like road dirt/brakdust in all the little groves that I cant get out with my finger. Is there any special way to clean these bad boys? I aint talkin 89 show room condition or anything just make them look nice. Even after I was the car and do the rims up they still got junk on them and stuff. So if anyone has anyidea or any products let me know, thanks

Pork

I find the Quiksilver II rim cleaner works well, with a brush.

I agree,Grease lightning does work good but don't let it dry up on your wheels. It will stain them.I use it for cleaning just about everything

BE VERY CAREFUL WITH GREASED LIGHTNING, that is extremely strong stuff, I recommended it to a friend years ago and it totally messed up his wheels. There are certain materials not to use it on. Just read the bottle.

So this Greased lighting stuff, just put it on then you like a scrubby pad or something and then hose off?

I used turtle wax has a rim cleaner its a two step procedure if you want a "protective coat" ok anyway its turtle wax and when sprayed on its a foam. It works awesome w/ my impossible to clean formula wheels, it got all the brake dust inbetween where the lugnuts are, i was amazed?! That **** has been there so long and so hard to get off. Well good luck.

I just use some brake dust remover that you get from the parts store. Just spray on and spray off at the car wash. Well after that I use the car wash brush. Seems to work ok.
