I used to have blue underbodys on my car and it looked really sharp until i hit a racoon =( I think they look great on our car, but strobes look really tacky too me, and a lil over done. I think blue or purple would look great underneath your car.

I think red might look good or blue. But strobes look really dumb to me.

go red for the lights... thats what i have imho i think it looks good on black cars..

as for the strobes...our lights arent designed to have those put in them... but if you must..put them in the hood compt.somewhere or somewhere inside the car...

but anywhere is fine...just get creative

I like the neons iroc2nv.

Oh yeah, ever thought of getting a dig camera. You can pick up a decent one for internet use and decent print outs for around $100.

Actually, your lights were designed for them. Remember the REAL b4C camaros? The actual police units? They had the strobes in the lights. You could buy the part from gm and install it if you really wanted to.

my suggestion is to not turn on the strobes unless you are in a parking lot..but thats just my opinion..

as for the neons..no they are not hard to install although it is rather tedious work..it took me about 2 hours to do it and thats with another set of hands. (ive done them b4 too)

You might as well replace the dome light with a disco ball and drive around jamming the BeeGee's.

Friggin kids got nothing better to do with their money... how about some performance upgrades???

I for one will never give into the trends that come and go. But then again its your car, do what pleases you....

i have to asnwer your question with a question...

are you going to be driving around with the strobes running? or are they just gonna be used for when you are in a parking lot..

if you are driving around with them on, id say illegal(at least it is here) but if you are stationary(and cops arent ******) then youll be ok..

a black and gold t/a would look good with white underlights..ive only seen one car with the white...looks really good..the only thing that is holding me back from saying red or blue is that gold part of your car..

also what colour is your interior?

that will also help determine the colour that would look best under your car!!

i know you can get a "music interface", i think it's meant for interior neons but i'm sure it can be rigged into the wiring of the underbody neons seeing they are all just + and - wires anyways. it makes your neons light up to the music you are playing. i think even if you could make big a$$ neons like thesee "strobe like" you'd end up giving someone an eplectic seizure or somethin.

as i said before my car is Black and Gold with a tan interior
and i wanted to put the strobe lights in my rear directionals so when i make a turn the rear turn signal will be a strobe.

You can get the kits on eBay. I bought a blue Lightglow kit. MAN IS IT SHARP lookin'. You can pick them up for under a 100 bucks with shipping. The shipping is $25+ because of a oversize handling charge.

I can take some pictures tonight when it is partly dark so you can see them. The kit I used came with black clips that you mount the tubes to the body with. I mounded them on the ground effects - but I took and used bolts to mount the clips on. On the front and back tubes I mounded them to the frame. I mounted the front tube on the bumper support- because I only got 6" of ground clearence. The size of the lights are:
1. Sides 4'
2. Front and Back 3'

All the wiring is as easy as it could get.

I'm in school now but I'll get some pics later!!

But, I think the sellers name on ebay was kwimports check him out- very helpful also.

i have a 91 black camaro w/ white neons under the car. the white neons have a blue tint to them. i think they look better than any other color for a black car. installing them is pretty easy. just remember to put them in a good place because if you are far away from the car you can see the side bulbs.

my friend has the underbody neons, plus a 3 footer in the back of his car, no dimming of the headlights, even leave them on when it's parked for an hour or so and the car starts right up.

well iroc this camaro is all show and some go. i have a 65 elcamino thats for racin and it has a 350 in it with 10:1 compression with kb pistons hyperetutic or wat ever. dual plane intake with a q jet carb ceramic coated headers, balanced crank 202 heads with roller rockers and a 444degree crower cam with a gear driven. thats for my performance and sunday car my camaro is my daily driver so i just wanna have fun with it.

...but you are unsure of how hard it is to install underbody neons...?
