I used the Black and Decker Sandstorm on mine with 110 then 220 grit paper. Then did the rest by hand 400-1500 grit. Worked well.

Try a dremmel too, that would work well. I did my miniram that way and it came out sweet!

If ya use a sander be carefull not to round off your edges.
I'd do it by hand, with a firm block where possible.

DO NOT USE A DREMEL. It left burns marks in my rim, and polishing by hand for the polish part works just as well.

Definately, get an electric sander , will cut the process time in half.

SORRY! You first off need to know which bits to use. I too had this "burning" problem when i started my miniram but when i figured out which bits to use, it was smooth sailing. Just watch what you are doing, that's all. What kind of sander would you use anyway, it depends on it's size. A dremel has a pretty good size to it to be able to move it around easier! I just watched what i was doing and the miniram came out perfect! Mark, ask Erik/es87iroc how it came out. He saw it when he picked up my groundeffects. I had good results from using it, that's all. good luck with your wheels
