the console is not original in my car and so the RPO sticker is missing! i don't know if i have an iroc or a z28. Its done up as an iroc clone at least, all the way down to the badge on the dash. can some one help me out and tell me any suttle differences? My car has been resprayed.
On another note can anyone run a carfax for me on it too? There are 2 reports and i wouldn't mind knowing what they are. Thanks

There should be another set of rpo codes in your lock compartment in the hatch. Also look under the front end gfx, if it's an IROC it will have a sway bar, which I don't think the Zs got? not sure though.

Also, your IROC decals on the door should be towards the front of the door, and all emblems on the side gfx and rear bumper should say Z28. Though these are easy to fake as you may be aware.

thanks for the info about the lockbox! i will make sure to look tonight. The car is repainted but all the decals are in the right spot. Z28s did have swaybars, just smallers ones, however my original swaybar was removed by the previous owner because he drag raced the car and wasn't worried about turning too much so i can't use that to tell . I just bought an iroc bar and it should be in the mail

Unless the previous owner did suspension work don't IROCs sit lower than Z28s? I know my IROC is lower than my Sport Coupe, meaning the actual car, not because of gfx.

yeah IROCS sat 1/2 inch lower

i do have iroc wheels but they, of course, may not be original. I have had my car next to another one, which happened to be an iroc, and mine was taller, but there is also the possibility of having drag coils on this car too! there are many many mods on the car and i didn't do them so im still figuring it out. I know irocs did sit lower but this car was quite a but lower than mine, ie an inch, of course his could have been lowered.

Question: Is your front suspension extremely tight and your rear pretty loose? for example, while testing shocks aka pushing down in the front, my car goes no where, in the back though i can push it down pretty far. Tell tale sign of anything?
