Is that the right spoiler?? Car looks good from behind. What kind of center is that on the lights? I have the 85-90 lights and need a new center.

Beautiful 91...I love the tips.. this is the first pic I've seen of your 91. I gotta wash the car, so I can take a decent pic of mine.

I second that, what does it sound like?

If and when you have some time, you can send me any other pics of the Trans.... fredelm@sympatico.ca.

Have you polished the rims yet?
Believe me and everyone else on here I learned the process from (with pics to prove) its worth it.

I think the difference in the wiring harness is if your swapping from firebird tail lights. Cause I know a few people who have done that and had to get part of the wiring harness from a trans am.

that is the stock spoiler, and as far as sound... well it sounds fantastic. the other day i had pipes put in place of my cats. now all of my friends tell me that it sounds like an ls1 with borla, which to me is one of the best sounds a v8 can make.

The difference in harnesses has to do with Firebirds having two additional smaller bulbs (i believe its two) for parking lights (that go on with the headlamps) but that do not light up with the brakes or turn signals. Also, the turn signal bulb is separate, because its the smaller amber rectangle, and i think on the Trans Ams they may share a bulb, or something. Changing the harness isnt really necessary, unless you want it to look identical as a TA from the factory.

I hooked up 85-90 TA lights on my Formula, without switching the harnesses, and its sweet, because without dwitching the harness, the lamps fade from bright to dark from the outside towards the inside. I like it... at least until i get done making my new ones

Oh, and for whoever was asking about the centers:

91-92 TA's didnt have center pieces, the tailights consisted of two larger pieces, instead of two light sections and a center.

Thanks for the info on the taillights. I can't afford $200, but then again those taillights aren't exactly common. The only problem I have with the regular Firebird lights is that amber section on the bottom and that dummy section too.

So what are you going to do about emissions testing?
