In my opinion!
3rdgen birds look best w/ the RA I hood
and
3rdgen camaros look best w/ the ASCD SS hood

I think its custom, its not a photoshop. Though I am pretty syre that the guy who posted the pic is not the owner of the car, even though he has it in his sig.

mazda yellow

Hey 91zconvt, I ran across a guy who told me he used to own the car and told me he was the one who had it painted (it was originally white) He told me it was Mazda yellow. Does anyone know where to buy an aftermarket front spoiler?

how long we have begged and how quickly we forget about one of the coolest, best looking hoods for a camaro... the jongbloed hood... Im at work so i dont have a photoshopped pic of it on my car, or any other car, but it is the best looking hood for a camaro. The lines and shape fits the car 100%. It really is a nice hood and has just started production again by GTAuto. Its like a cowl hood, only wider to where it meets up with the headlight buckets. looks like there is a slight rise in the hood.... Also the Terminator Hood is a very sweet looking hood.

The Ram air II should have never been made for anything except the 98+ LS1 Bird. Look at the front of the LS1 bird. The hood just fits, the lines match. It works.

Fourth Gen's have a more rounded swopping body. 3rd gens don't

their boxy as all hell, complete oposite.

Notice the difference between the SS hood for the 3rd gen and the SS hood on a 98+ SS. The 98+ hood has a rounded scoop, it fits the car and the lines work. Notice the 3rd gen SS hood has a straighter scoop, it goes with the body.

The RAII just looks F*ing stupid on 3rd gens period.

Sonar_un's car works because he has about the nicest color paint i've ever seen, that paint could make a home-made hood look good

but don't put on RAII's people especially on Camaros. They just look stupid. Its like the Civics, and Trucks with RAII's, it shouldn't be done.

But to every man his own.

and ASCD wouldn't make them if they weren't selling, but it just looks F*CKING wrong

Agreed. Add to that 4-6" cowl hoods...they look like @ss IMO... Unless you have a blower under there or specifically need that much hood clearance for some other reason - just say NO! A 2"...maaaaaybe a 3" is fine though.

When you see the hood on the car and it's moving, it looks a whole lot better.

I used to like the Ram Air 2 hood when it first came out. Now its as common as the stock hoods, although they still look great, on birds that is.

I wouldn't buy one. No one wants to make the hood I want.
