Does this apply to Camaros only, Firebirds only, or both?

If Camaros- I like the 91/92 ones much better. I want to upgrade mine someday.

If Firebirds- I like both types of ground effects.

Oops. I'm talking about Camaros.

I'm undecided. I like both. The 91-92's look good but the pre 91's give the car a really smooth clean look.

I might even switch to the earlier style oneday.

I like the 91-92 on camaros.

I've owned both the pre 91 and the post 91 gfx on birds and to tell the truth...they both look awesome. Although the look of the 91-92 bird is just incredible. In my opinion it outshines the 4th gen 98+ easily.

The 91-92 style on the camaro's looks the best. And i prefer the earlier style GFX on the GTA's and trans am's.

The things I like best are the ones that are different from everyone else. I used to like 91-92 style before so many switched their pre 91 style to that. My vote is for the pre 91 style becuase I don't see that style too often anymore. Those style ground effects along with the 3 piece spoiler give the Camaro a smooth look to it.

I love them all! But....I'd have to go with the 91-92 style.....especially the Z28's.....the ground effects and the Aero spoiler.....just look bad ***. Around here....there are like NO 91-92 Rs or Z28's at all.....that another reason why I like them so much. And....I have a Black 91 Z28 5.7 TPI (L98)

I think that the 91-92 looks better when the gfx and the rest of the car are the same color. But if you've got the two tone paint (like I have) I think the earlier ones look better. Otherwise I think you'd kinda look like the rice rockets around here that blow all their money on a body kit and can't afford paint so they spray paint it.

Yeah, me too, 91 and 92's all came one solid color. Before I was hit......I redone my 84 all in 1991-1992 ground effects, both front and back bumpers and the aero spoiler. But, I wanted to keep it the original color.....it was white and gold.....so I repainted it the same color....even when it had the 91-92 parts on it....it still looked great. But....I see where your coming from too.

I'd gladly trade. And they're black so you won't have to paint

IMO, the 82-84 Z28 are UGMO, the 85-90 are the best, and the 91-91 with the tall spoiler/big black front grill/ little scoops in sides look a little "*****" (pardon my language!).

Dude, that's just wrong to even say that a Z28 Camaro resembles any rice car. 1991 and 1992 Z28's are the baddest Z28's made to me for the whole 3rd Gen Period. They look the meanest and they could probably pound any stock 3rd gen made. I love every Camaro made, but.....that's just wrong saying that the 91 and 92 Z28's resemble any kind of rice....

There is no way that any factory thirdgen can be rice. Thirdgens were born before the "rice" craze anyways.

Hey 84_CamaroBC, are you really serious that you think the 91 and 92 Z28's resemble rice?......I'm not trying to start anything but that's just stupid and insane.....

and like NickyG said.................

Whoa... opened up a can of worms here. Perhaps "rice" was the wrong word. What I ment was it looked overdone. The camaro already looks great and you dont need to go hanging extra plastic and such on it. I personally like no ground fx or the cleaner earlier style. I certainly didn't mean to compare the 91-92 to the guy buzzing in his fart-can equiped, triple-deck spoiler civic. Sorry if I gave you the wrong idea.

Good thing you cleared that up...lol.....everyone has their own opinions.....noone has ever really put it like that before....and not to many people disagree with the looks of a 1991 or 1992 Z28/RS......I think it's the best design that GM came up with for the Camaro's.....they look alot more aggressive to me. From all the years between 1985-1990....the body style (ground effects) never changed....I mean, they came out with the IROC-Z and everything which is kewl.....and they changed the door molding from 87-88....(88 having the wider style) and in 87, the 5.7 was introduced......but...nothing really changed on the outside. In 1990.....they had the "newer" looking dashboard and stuff... but..when the 1991 RS/Z28 came out..it was really a new style for the Camaro that everyone noticed and mostly everyone admired and enjoyed...but....if you don't really like it....that's your opinion and that's what the message board is for. Thanks for clearing the "rice" word up though...lol
