hood blisters
I ordered a pair of hood blisters from third gen resource a couple weeks ago and I got them today, just to open the box and find they sent me both the same side
So now after all this waiting to get them I have to send the one back and wait again till I get the the other side. this sux, I hate waiting.

Another unhappy customer, if you check out the vendor review board, there seems to be a few unhappy people with that company, I believe I'm thinking of the right place.
you guys can order them from a place called east coast customs (www.eastcoastcustoms.com) as well, thats where i got mine from, and i was very satisfied, heres a pic

Will those fit an IROC hood? The ones that are called IROC style scoops are just flat

the hood blisters I bought will fit any hood, I took the one that I have to the recker and matched it up with the iroc, the 82-84 z28 and of course the plain hoods it covers the original scoops or loovers by like a 1/4" to half inch and the bolts that are attached to the blisters are 1 1/2" long, if you could find a company that could actually dealiver both sides then your set, no matter what hood you have the blisters should work.

IROC_5796,
please let me know how they treat you on the exchange! Them are ones that bolt to the iroc/z28 hood correct? My RS has some hail dings, and I love the look of them blisters, so I will be finding a iroc hood, and a set of them.
Thanks

Well on the matter of the exchange, I finally got Roy on the phone "a very difficult person to get a hold of" and he told me to send them back and I have to pay the shipping to send them back, now he said he would refund the shipping charges onto my account so then next time I order I can use that money
, I think they should refund it all together.
When I went to the wrecker to match up the blisters on other hoods they fit everthing, I wieghed out the Iroc hood and the RS plain hood and being of the somewhat same construction they wiegh the same, not a noticable amount of wieght difference so save the money and get a plain hood.

Weight is not an issue, this car is all looks, its a v6. I just want something nicer then plain looks, and the hood I have is hail damaged.
john, are they the real hood blisters, or the lovered kind, real gm, or aftermarkets?? If their real hood blisters, im intrested.

Just as stated above,BE CAREFUL when buying those repro hood blisters. Some of them are made to fit on a flat hood and will NOT fit an iroc hood.
