ok.. here's the next idea for my 92 camaro.... i've seen alot of cars that have chamelon (bad spelling i think) paint.. has anyone ever seen that type of paint job on a thirdgen?

Yep Saw one done up on TV that had twin superchargers and a reverse opening hood. I'm sure someone has a picture of it they could post. *hint hint*

Oh gawwwwwd, I creamed myself when I saw that show. The Camaro was coming around this corner, and he let the camera truck get a bit ahead, and when he came out of the turn he went WOT and let off. It jumped up and let out the loudest whistle I've ever heard from a car to date.

wow.. i think that's gonna look hot.. and with the hood i'm gonna get from hawks.. the ram air hood.. i think that's gonna turn headz.. no body around here's got the ram air hood on a fbody camaro.. and the guy at the local hot rod shop said that there's not really anything i can do with my motor.. how depressing.. so i'm gonna put the hood and paint.. and restore the inside and make it a show piece.. next thing is to find an old iroc and turn that into a race car.. i talked to a guy the other night at checkers... for those that don't know.. checkers is like mcdonalds.... and we were talking about engines.. he's gotta ss with an ls1 in it and he said it's a vette killer.. i was like yeah.. so either an ls1 or an ls6 once i get the iroc.

when that flip flop paint first came out on the fords a few years back, i think dupont made it and they were very protective of it. I had a friend with a brand new thunderbird that had it. he got hit by some *** and needed a touch up. the dealer called it in, and dupont hired an independant contractor to show up with their own portable spray booth and paint the car. they took all the tape and masking with them when they left too, the only paint you get to mess with was what was on the car lol

 

I thought it was 3,000 a quart.
