Ground Efx conversion

I have an 83 Z28. Is it possible for me to put on 85-90 Ground efx kit(front, sides, rear)? Would I have to do any modifications? Please reply if you know for sure.

Thanks.

All the side pieces will bolt right on. You will have to change the whole nose piece and the rear bumper cover.

What If i drill new holes? I think its the 85-90 style ground efx that Im buying. Its the ones that have like scoops on the sides in front of the front wheels and in front of the rear wheels.

Those are the 91-92 RS/Z28 style ground effects.....you'll have to drill new wholes in the doors for the door pieces and new wholes for the rocker pieces......and some new wholes for the lower bottom rear quarter pieces.....you'll have to change the whole back bumper and the whole front nose in order to have the whole set on your car.

Can I do it without buying a new nose, I will get a new bumper, the sides I might just not change, cuz they almost the same, but I want a new front ground efx. I would absolutely have to buy a new front clip to install 85+ ground efx?

I know that 3rdgen camaros w/o any body kit have a nose with a SMOOTH underside. camaros that have a bodykit, have ...like...interlocking type..underside for the front spoiler. So you will also need a 91-92 nose. Dont forget to pick up the matching airdam (black plastic piece that bolts under the radiator) so you will not overheat. hope this helps.

dont forget the pieces that go on the doors too.

Hate to say this dude, but yeah, you have to buy a new front nose if you want to do it. If you end up putting a 1985-1992 Nose on it.....you'll also have to cut some of the rubber/plastic reinforcement off (underneath the nose) so the 85-92 nose will fit. Trust me.....I done it to my 84 Z28.....but...after I got it all on.....it looked fantastic!! Done it all as a 1991 Z28....with all the ground effects, the back high rise spoiler and a big block stinger hood.... To bad it's totaled now!!!! (lady rearended me) Now....I have a black 1991 Z28 5.7 (L98) Tuned Port Injection.
