What exactly is a sig anyhow? Please pardon my ignorance I am from Tennessee originally. Not that there is anything wrong with that right?!

A sig is the text that appears at the bottom of a post that tells something about the person posting. I think you are referring to a sig graphic which is a picture usually accompanying said text.

go to the top of the page and click user cp. then click edit profile. scroll down to the sig area and write what you want.
