Blue, Blue, Blue
Blue, Blue, Blue
I have a '91rs that is getting repainted metalic blue. I was thinking about customizing it with ice blue head lights, clear side signals with blue bulbs and blue bulbs in the lights under the headlights.(not sure on what they are exactly called) Is there anything illegal about my ideas, and how do you think it would look?

The blue side signals are illegal, the headlights less so. Here is the catch, some cops will pull you over, some will write you a ticket, and some simply won't care. The question is,

The laws may differ from state to state. Check with your local PD.
On the boards however, blue lights are illegal

You might as well turn some blue lights on the roof while you are at it.......
cause that is WAY illegal.....to have blue lights on the car......accross the U.S.........I challenge anyone to find a state that allows Blue lights.......
So in this case we can saw, the laws differ from country to country..........

hell, I just bought some new turn signal assemblies about a week ago and decided to put blue lights in them. so far, I have already been written a "warning", but I figure I won't bother taking them out until I get a ticket. The cop that pulled me over was an A Hole anyways. He wrote me a ticket for going 52 in a 40, and for having a broken liscense. He wrote me a warning for the blue lights, and one for swerving. I don't think it would have been possible for him to write me a ticket for anything else? Oh well, since then I haven't had any problems and many a pig has passed me by....

Blue side marker lights - Illegal, You have to have Orange front and Red Back
Ice Blue Headlights - Legal, You can have them as long as they are bright enough
Blue front Turn Signals - Illegal, You have to have orange
But the worst you are gonna get is *GASP* A Fix-it Ticket
Just take out a bulb and its fixed.. then when u get it signed off, put it back on!
