Not entirely true, I fit SIX people into my '85 bird for a five hour (total) road trip!

Seen it, saw it. I used to think that was the most gorgous thing around, but Mark A Shields has really gotten me to appreciate a stock body.

But...but...what about the "TONS OF ADMIRATION AND AKALAIDS FOR SHOW"?? I mean, how can you not love something that's won tons of "akalaids" for show?

Oh well, FWIW it does look nice, if you're into replicas. I wouldn't do it to my car though. Once he sells it, this guy should at least invest in a WP with spell check....

Hehe, I know you all have seen an evoluzion before, and I know it's not everyone's cup of tea. The title was meant to draw attention to the post, which worked.

The point of the post was to show that even though that is a nice conversion, it looks nothing like a ferrari, or an F50 model to boot. I found humor in it at least....and it beats posting something about a honda with a two by four for a wing.

And four people can fit in a third gen quite well...as long as the front people aren't 6 feet tall.

I like that car. If I had the funds, I'd build an EVO II.
That dude needs a spell checker, I think every sentence had a typo in it.

the day i have 12 grand or so just sitting around, im gonna buy a strong running donor car with a crappy body and build one of those (actually the evo II).

i think it'd be just buckets of fun putting one of those together off of a firebird or camaro.

hell yeah.

dambass calls it a 1994 F40, now thats just sad, there is no way that thing even remotely resembles a F40.

In 85 it was possible to get the IROC with the console clock if you got an AM radio. Only 809 thirdgens in 85 had the console clock... very few of them were IROCs. Mine has it, and a few other guys on here have it.

I hate to tell you guys, but its gonna take a LOT more than $10-$15K to build an EVO 2 car, sure, pick up a rotten/halfway decent thirdgen, slap the kit and interior in, but where is the 383 Twin Turbo and huge *** suspension to back that up? Little chunk of change to get this car to mooooove. I dont know about you, but i wouldnt want to have one of those, and get smoked by some civic or something and they go around saying they can beat a Ferrari

Seriously, he is trying to get his money back! Pretty sad, but i am sure that is why he lives in a huge house. Monroe is less than 20min from my house, maybe i should check it out to see the quality of these kits, or not! If that car had some motor work to back up the look, i could understand the price, a little. Overall, i think it is a rip off.

A turn key EVO is $30K+
Gary's Custom Exotics here in Virginia can get you one and build it for you.

I like the Evo but that guy is a fool. Not only is it not a Ferrari, but how did he come up with a 1994 model?? lol! I will have my Evo II next year but I wont be trying to pass it off as something its not. I want to put it on my 91, but I'm not sure what color to paint it. Looking forward to making some profit off a realestate deal.

What do you mean turn key? Does it have a new motor in it too or just a body kit? $30K for what? I thought the body kits were between $8-10k depending on what you wanted, then you would need to find a shop to do the work for you. Inform me please, thanks. I did not know they were that much, if they are, get me a job Crazy Hawaiian.

K1 does sell turn key versions but I dont know what they come with. To buy the kit, its between 8 and 10 grand depending on what style doors you want. Then you need to find a shop to install and paint it (or DIY). The American distributor is Euro Works Ltd. Shipping to Hawaii is killer!! hahahah. I can get you a job if you have certs. I work in the computer tech field doing network support. The real estate thing was blind luck. Bought a foreclosed house for $150k ($67k for the house, $82k for the land) and the one next door just sold for $235k. Thinking about getting a real estate liscence and doing that on the side when I'm bored (just selling tho, not buying hehe). But I'm too busy with my ISP biz I'm starting so who knows.

Thanks Crazy for the insight! If i ever move down there i'll look you up. lol Seriously, for $30k the "turn key" better come with more than a body kit.

My $.02 is that car is worth every penny of the asking price. It has nice seats, interior, rims, shiny paint, and it looks like a nice driver. Sure its not even remotely a Ferrari but who cares? If thats what you want to be seen driving in, you couldn't look that good driving a new f-body for that price.

Dear *** man, you think any third gen can be beat by a civic? Your nuts.

Anyways, i like the evo, and buying that would save you having to buy all the parts n get it painted and installed and all, so hes not even asking a bad price for it, but its stupid hes not saying what it really is...

Personally id build it myself, that would be so fun
