was riding my bike last summer and I saw this high school kid in a black TA at a light. I was sitting there on the opposite corner waiting to cross. When the light turned green, the TA peeled out of the corner, went extremely sideways, produced a lot of smoke, regained control, and then vanished on a horizon.
Were you in NY? cause i do it all the time in my formula. It impresses people when theres a huge posi-slide on a corner. Personally all i care about is impressing myself, and maybe my girl but if someone else gets a kick out of it then hell yeah. lets face it, a burnout is just raw testosterone, muscle being displayed like a freshly combed poodle at a dog show. ok i'm rambling like a drunken divorcee. later.

I might do it depending on if it doesn't snow this week and whatnot.

Only thing is my 'bird is leaking oil badly, so I don't drive it much right now.

Off topic just alittle...but you guys know those tires that have colored tread... They usually have a yellow or red or blue line going around them...sometimes they have multiple lines. In my opinion they are kinda stupid looking...but my friend and i were wondering, if you do a burn out in them, do your marks from each tire go...black, colored, black black, colored???? I think the marks would look kinda cool with colored lines in between. Ok...sorry, back to kool aid. I was going to try it this weekend, but it was all rainy while I was home. Maybe over thanks giving break if no one has tried it by then?

The tires on the 90 are down to the tread wear. Before we switch to the winter wheels and tires UI'll talk to my dad about bleach and kool aid.

the 57 in my sig had a proportioning valve that I fitted into the brake line, I was able to adjust the boost to my front & rear brakes. I'd shut the rear off and do a line locker for ever, that baby was real light & had a hot 327

Ok, to start, I have been in the tire business for many years, and those colored tires do leave colored marks. I have seen it many times, in person.

Secondly, I think most of you are SNIFFING too much kool aid. However, I think this could be extremely fun to try, so I will be undertaking the project soon. The wife is already laughing about it, and I haven't even gotten the kool aid.

I frankly don't care how you smoke tires, just do it. Do it often, too. Most people watching you don't know how you are doing it anyway. All they want to see is smoke.

I'm sure to use a **** load of Kool-aid. Actually, it might be better to just use some food coloring in the bleach. then it should change the color of the smoke. I tried it last night in my dads car with just bleach and I had no results at all. Not even any smoke. Maybe I didn't use enough of it. I would have tried again with some more, but I had went to my school so I could do it with noone seeing it behind this huge hill in the parking lot. Turns out two cops got the same idea. When I finished I saw them Hiding behind the dumpsters, then one of them put there spot light on me, and they started slowly following. Naturally I got in some traffic and left them. After already being pulled over for racing a Honda (and beating his ***) 10 minutes earlier. I figured I shouldn't risk it again. But I might go somewhere and try it tonight or one day this week.

Later,
Steve

The fact that it is winter and the roads are a mess is not motivating me too much. Past spring spent a lot of time dealing with rust and road salt under the Camaro.

I do have a set of drag radials that need some thrashing, as they are almost bald. Those puppies throw a lot of smoke. I will try to get it done this weekend, once it gets warmer out.

heres the problem tho, you really gotta exp. with it...like diffrent amounts of powder to use and stuff like that, different fluids etc....as much as i hate to say it, it could require some thought.

Ok guys, im not so sure about how my sources are.... but a friend of mine who owns a 92 mustang 5.0 claims that this was talked about on the web site he uses, well he said he tried it

now he mixed one cup bleach with one full pack of kool-aid.. it was red.

he didnt hold the break down b/c he "thinks thats for weak cars" but ive seen him burn them up w/o the break b4 and its pretty impressive.

Now.... he claims that it made the smoke a very faint red... it was kinda like a gray/red mix... like a light red fog...

this is what he claims... but he complains about everything, and i never heard him whine about cleaning the crap off his car.... but he IS dumb enough to do it. But possiably dumb enought to lie about it.
