My dad got a 1987 Mustang GT convertible on Saturday, which is pretty cool. But what steems me is that I told this friend of mine, who is a girl, not girlfriend (I'm working on it), and she gets real excited. Come on!! I have a '92 Z28 convertible in wow condition and I got no reaction when I told her. The GT is cool, fast and all but it's not mint, not even close. Does this ever happen to you? I mean, what is it about Mustangs?

Because everyone and their mom have stangs...noone truly appreciates thirdgens.... EXCEPT US

 

I say its because everyone says oh yea I love mustangs they are classics, and they mean the old 67 stangs ya know. So girls think oh yea mustangs are awsome everyone loves them, ( having no clue everyone means the old ones lol) its just girls don't know cars to well; well about 89% no pretty much nothing about cars.

I have had 4 different firebirds in the course of my relationship with this woman. She has taken a love to the Firebird. Her sister on the other hand isn't so willing to change.

the new mustangs **** me off, and just for the reason that people compair them to the 02' f-bodys and talk $hit about how much faster they are... but what else would you expect coming from the factory with a super charger

since i've owned my car, i've had 2 girlfriends.. both of which thought my car was incredibly sexy. i dont mean to say that she (the car) was the reason for me getting women, but if you show your girls how much you love your car and why... they come around to gm.

i think the neon helped.. mood lighting of sorts.

they both always told me to turn down the sub, so i know its not that. but it is a handy feature when you can turn it up LOUDER than they can say "TURN IT DOWN!"

 

haha, ._. ehem....I think it's a bit odd that she showed more enthusiasm over the Mustang rather than your Z28.

I do like the new Mustangs, though. In a way, their body lines remind me somewhat of thirdgens (they do, go look O_o)

If I were your friend, I'd be going for the 'Z : )

Lots of chicks love Mustangs. I'm lucky, when I met my girlfriend, she didn't care about cars at all... but now she laughs at funny ricers and Stangs all the time
