LT1 Injector swap and engine pics

Hey Everyone,

With the Thanksgiving holiday weekend upon us, I finally decided to sit down and update my web page. As many of you know I have a web site on Cardomain.com that I show off different things I have done on my car. Back in September I swaped out my old 22/lb injectors for a set of 24lb LT1 injectors and installed an Adj. Fuel Press. Reg. The webpage tells the entire story. I did the majority of the work on a friday and surpisingly I had three people drive past me, stop, and ask "Hey, do you know anything about cars?" Hmmmmmm.... With all the fuel injection parts sitting on the ground and tools in my hands I struggled not to be sarcastic. One of them even said they did not think I could get it back together. Appearantly they have never seen my website. Oh well, what can ya do. When you get a chance, check out the web page and the entire site if you have not seen all of it.

Wow, that intake was dirty.

Sweet car and site!!! It's very informative, you don't just brag about what you did, you show others how to do it.

What do you get out of swapping bigger injectors in? Can you just do injectors and not intake? Because soon Im going to replace my injectors.

Yeah you can but you will proly need to reprogram the chip or it will run a tad bit rich. A lot of ppl just put the injectors in and it runs fine.

Yeah, basically the reason I did it was because my injectors were leaking. I have bought some burning equipment but have not had enough time to get it all sorted out. The car runs fine with no changes to the prom but it does run a little rich as mentioned by IROC 5.7.
