i didnt know what to do with my emblems that i took off my camaro and i was bored so i did this......thought that it looked pretty cool cuz they matched the craftsman logo.....nice a custom toolbox

my uncle's done the same thing. he has the "camaro" emblem from his '68, the "Z28" badge from a '76 (i think), and a "CJ7" jeep badge, and i think that's it.

I did something close to that once.. I took the the 2 'S' letters off of an Oldsmobile Achieva S and glued them both onto my lawnmower, so I had an SS lawnmower... hehe BTW it was a craftsman too

Not to ruffle any feathers, but.. I don't think that really has to do with the appearance and/or detailing of a 3rd Gen... I'm just tryin to look out for you.. Seems some are gettin put on probation for harmless non tech posts , just to warn you.

yeah i know guys im sorry but i was feeling good about myself when i did that.......i guess it could some what relate to appearance because i like the appearance of my camaro without the logos on it and it could give some people an idea of what to do with the emblems that they had taken off their third gen.....

Damn post ******! Is there like an Anything Goes board on here b/c this place can get like lock down. Probation for what? I could understand just being completely out of line but not this type of stuff. Its all in fun and there is a place and time for things, obviously there isn't one here?!? I am just saying that there should be a spot where the members from this site can go to just chill out. Not get threatened by anything non tech related. Does anyone feel the same way or do you just feel like making one word posts like, "nice" or "sweet" and getting away with it? And i really feel that the post count thing is a tad too much, what happens when there is no more room, does it roll over like an odometer? I don't think having a higher post count means anything. People will be who they are going to be, wheter their post count is high or low. I am sure i am "wasting space" right now but i am curious to see what others feel. Like i said, there is a time and place for everything and i am not saking for a spot to just post **** or stuff like that, just a spot to "hang" on less of a technical note, yet on a mature level. Trust me, i have seen some stupid *** threads get let go, far off from one like this thread.

Can't do it...I've heard the board had a chat room that was open for discussions. It got the whol site shut down I guess. GOes to show how one Idiot can ruin a godd thing for alot of other. It would be nice, but not going to happen.

First of all Mark is a Moderator himself, so... all he was doing was agreeing with me. Marks post usually don't consist of one word posts, trust me. Now this thread will be close for sure because it is way off topic again. Oh well! If they lock it...they lock it. After all it's their job to do so.

Got a guilty conscience? J/K man, i was just stating that a while back someone had made a comment to me about one of my comments. He said something like, well a person with a post count of 500 should no better than that, or something like that. Its not like the more posts you have, the more knowlegable you are or the more mature you are. I'm just going to be me basically. I wasn't pointing you out Mark, i would probally have said so. And yes, it is always that one person who ruins it for everyone. I agree on that!

Well....I like what you did to the toolbox but....now you dont have those on your car. I'd have a fit if my car didnt have emblems. Nice job though.

well that was the whole thing i didnt want any emblems on my car except for the front one.....i think it looks cleaner

Yeah, that's one of the reason that this board kinda sux. We get post's shut down b/c the mods think they don't have enough 'tech content' or if the mod doesn't agree with something, then they shut it down. We need a 'lounge' type forum where ppl can just talk about anything, tech or not. Check out easternfbody.com. This is a board that has a lounge, and it gives all the guys a place to just talk about anything. Only problem with that board is that it's predominately a 4th gen board. No flames intended, just hoping the moderators will see this and take it into consideration.
