My new 86 T/A

I just picked up this Trans Am a couple weeks ago for $2500, what do you guys think? Did I pay to much?
It's a 305LG4, Auto, 140 speedo, 3" exhaust w/ flwmaster 80, Pwr windows, dr locks and keyless entry and just over 100k miles.
I don't have any interior pics yet, but I can tell you there's much to be desired.
The Exterior need a bit of work, other than that just little things, an air dam and a distributor..

Cracked Passenger side fog light..

I hate that wing, not because of its looks(ok, maybe the way it is now) but wtf is that piece of crap made of?

Looks like a flowmaster 80 series to me, but maybe it's just me

How do you polish chrome?

Looks nice, but those hammer rims gotta go! $2500 seems reasonable for the car. Keep us updated on the mods.

That looks like a good deal but 383 is right those rims suck. Those factory spoilers always warp just get a new fiberglass one from:

I already wanted one of those high rise spoilers from spoiler2000.com.
The TT 2's was just an idea, btw, what size wheels should I get?

Nice looking car, Not to alarm you, but you might want to check your rear brake wheel cylinders. From your pictures, it looks like they may be leaking.

Dolph it looks like you got yourself a great deal. However I don agree with some of the others...those rims just don't do that car justice. IMO of course. Keep us posted as to how things go for you and your car

in my opinion, the black strip down the side needs to go... it just doesn't seem to fit in.. i like the looks of doors with no strip, but just the little bend in the panels... plus in yellow it'll look real sharp. just an idea

A couple of days after I got it (took the pics), I went over everthing, It turns out the gas tank had a pinhole leak, if you look at the pick of the muffler and the oversprayed tank you can kind of see it, the car was alos wet.

thanks though

No sir! I built her that way. It was expensive but worth it in every way!

The system is all Pheonix Gold. 2 QXE/DVC 12's, The 180 Amp, and a Kenwood deck(which i'm changing) All my in house speakers are also P.G.'s...
