How long to wait to put on decals

I just got my car painted,how long should I wait to put my IROC decas on?I gotta buy a new set of decals,I checked Ebay,the one they have say they are 2 1/2 inches hign by 27 inches long.Are these the right ones?Because mine always seemed a little bigger than 2 1/2 inches high.Thanks

Mine went on the day after. When they detailed the car. I got mine from Phoenix Graphix i believe. I got the whole set and all new emblems, like i said, everything went on the day after and 2 1/2 yrs later they are still on!
