rear louvers? look good or bad?
My 87 IROC came with them from the factory and over the years they have been beat up. Mostly form fast driving and the ratteling. But there are several other rattles in my car as well so one more doesn't hurt.
Personnally I like the look of the 1 piece louvers and am trying to find where I can buy a new set. I think my car looks naked without them. Does anyone know where I can get a set?
Thanks for the help

My 88 iroc came with them on. I pulled them off though because I had a hard time seeing out the back window. Plus I have the factory storage cover to hide whatever is installed stereo wise in the hatch.
I agree though it depends A LOT on the car as to if they look good or not.

I have a brand new, factory set for 91 and 92 that's still in the box. I do know the set is missing slats 2 and 5. The reason it's missing those slats is because I bought 2 sets for the 91/92 and used slats 2 and 5 from one set to replace the third brake light (slats 3 and 4) on the other set.
If anyone is interested, make me a reasonable offer. I will have to check on shipping rates.

IMO- they can lok good on some of the camaros, mainly depends on color of the car and the groung effects (ie: teh maroon irocs)
not a big fan of them on the birds
although a friend of mine has a three piece set on his 83 bird that is all black and that set just fits the car

Shipping would be interesting. I'm trying to fine where I can buy a complete new set so I can decide if I can afford that of have to find a used set and have them painted. Most of the used ones I see are faded and might be brittle and/or cracked like my old ones and i don'w want that. Any ideas on where to buy them new? GM? Part Number?

If there on a Jet Black Iroc with the Iroc Louvered hood then for sure put them on there. I think in that case they look great..
But on white and other colors i say no way.

I find the louvers a tacky accessory, but thats just my opinion. I hate flashy graphics and neon lighting accessories also. Just put some nice tinting in and it does the same thing without the added weight or armadillo butt look!
