Ground Effects

I would like to change the ground effects on my 82 Z-28, is there anything that will bolt onto the currrent ground effects? What about front air dams, i saw one in JC Whitney about a year ago? What about ground effects off a later car like 91-92? Are aftermarket kits any good, i've seen them for $600.

I want my car to look lower and closer to the ground. What would you recommend?

Thanks

You will need a 85- and up nose. You will also need to drill holes in your front fenders, weld metal brackets under your doors, drill holes in your doors, drill holes behind the doors, and drill holes in your rear quarter panels. It's not really that hard to do .

your EXACTLY right! I had a 1984 Z28 (same apperance as the 82) and I had to replace the nose...1985-1992....drill new holes.....a bunch of modifications to make my 84 a clone of a 1992 Z28....I added the rear highrise spoiler too.........there is noway that a 1985-1990 (Z28, RS, IROC-Z) or 1991-1992 (RS,Z28) front nose ground effect wil fit a 1982-1984 Z28 front nose......
