92TransAm... Actually, those parts will pass smog. The SuperRam has the EGR provision, the headers are smog legal, etc. I have my air pump off and my cat off right now, but with that stuff back in the car, it should pass. There are a few guys sown in the So-Cal area running close to the same engine mods as myself and they are passing with no problems, even in LA. The smog guys are not as picky up here where I live, so I will have no trouble.

CamaroKev... I work in the firearm industry, and am parteners in a local Motorsports shop. I do work for the toys, that is for sure! None of them were just handed to me, unless you consider the type of deals I often come across..

I had it on a dyno a while back, but did not get any good pulls. I had a clogged fuel filter and did not know it(typical excuses huh? LOL).Anyways, I drove down with my son in the car, so we cruised at grandmother speeds and I did not notice any problems... We strapped it on the dyno and it pulled 333 hp @ 3100 rpm and 405 lb.tq @ 3200 rpm , then it immediatly fell on its' face after that, since there was no fuel.. the engine should have made great power in the upper rpm range with the set-up I am running. I do plan to re-dyno this thing and see what it has though.

It gets -very- good mileage on the freeway, roughly 27-29 ballpark, but not too good around town. I drive it hard 90% of the time I am in it. I have a 5-speed and 3:73 gears, seems to be a good combo.

The paint was done in early 1993 at a local shop "Davis Auto Body" here in Paso Robles.... I was lucky and got the paint job for free under the factory recall regarding paint.

I think i might have already asked you this but when you say a 5 speed are we talking a t-5 or did you get a tremec? If its a t5 is it stock? and i know your running a centerfroce dual friction clutch i beleive.

The T-5 is a non-world class from an 87 Trans Am. That I am aware of, it is stock. I got the trans. with 341,100 miles on it, it looks to have never been opened.... Anyways, I would guess the tranny has roughly 375,000 miles on it now, and it is used pretty hard. -Somehow- I have been lucky and not broke it. Yes, the clutch is a Centerforce dual friction.
