It's a little hard to see in the picture but the hood vents are faded and need to be repainted. Should I paint them the same color as the car or paint them the silver color of the trim?

 

you could try the same color as your ground effects, but i dont know how well that would look, but at least it would match

 

Here is a crappy phoshop job of your vents around the same color as your gfx.

I don't think that is such a good idea. It would look better if you just paint them body color. Painting them silver would look ok its just that the vents would stand out - If that is what you are looking to do, then go for the silver, but I think body color would look the best.

 

Heres your grills that i did in photoshop....not wonderful..but you can kinda get the idea.....personally i like them the same color as your body. IMO though....

 

I have a marroon-ish color red on my S/E and i painted the vents black they looks great black

 

I say body color. Ive seen different color vents, and they never looked right.

Well I call it a rust or a brown metallic. But some of the other guys on the board tell me it is call flame red matallic.

 

I say body color-but, on my car I chrome-spray painted the black mesh vent inside the hood-looks very nice!!!

 

It looks a hell of a lot better in person but heres my car w/ the black louvers

My cars color according to the RPO decoder is Root beer metallic so dont feel bad but shes getting painted and rid of that little problem and im still gonna keep the louvers black.
