Parking lamps

What do you think of my Parking lamps? I just used the stock lenses, I don't have the money to buy new ones to take apart. I think they need a little work, but look alright.

this is my personal opinion, but i dont like them. i think its an awesome idea, and i would love to do something to my car to make it not look so foggy and retarded...but i just dont like the way it looks. maybe theres an aftermarket front bumper light i can get....

anyway aside from the fact that it isnt in my taste you did an excellent job.

Looks alright but it still looks old. No getting around that, only if you would use new ones. Still, nice job. Quick question, which headlights are those?

86IROCNJ: They are the Sealed beam conversion kit, I got them off ebay, and they are the H4 bulbs. I got the lenses, the bulbs, and the wire adapter for like $40-50.

I did that way back when I had my maro. try painting black, around the glued edges and all, it'll look 10000 times more prosessional and less "backyard"

as you can see I need to paint myself, but it's january, and I live in wisconsin, and it won't be warm enought to paint till april.

I lnever had any good pics of when I did my maro, but these are pics from a few weeks ago.

really wowwed the guys @ ClubGP.com

thanks to Willie for the inspriration, like 2 years ago.

i just got done putting my front end back together and my marker lights were scratched and scuffed up to the point where you really couldn't see through them and i got meguiars plastic cleaner and also meguiars plastic polish (numbers 10 and 17 i believe) and used them and my marker lights look almost brand new now. definately 10x improvement. i'll try to post some pics if i can take some tonight.

Harry, tell me about those headlights. I bought those off ebay and am still waiting for them to arrive. The housings look awesome with that blueish tint to them. Are they really bright? Do you have the little blue marker lights also hooked up? how hard were they to install and about how long did it take you?

Thanks, Ted

Teds92RS: I got mine off ebay almost a year ago. I have noticed that they project a wide beam and illuminate the road a little more than the stock lights. I'd say they are worth buying. The bulb that come with the lenses have a blue tint and that is what you see in the lens. Since I got mine a year ago, I did not get the blue maker lights, those didn't come out yet. I guess some how your suppose to hook the marker lamps to the parking lamps, and I'm not sure how easy that is. The lenses were easy to install, and took probably 15 mins to put in both. My lenses were a tight fit compared to the stock lights, but they fit. I'd like to see some pics with the marker lights on when you get them. Hope your happy with them, I am.
