just curious what everyone thinks: do convertibles look better with the tops up or down?

personally, i think mine looks better with the top up, it just looks more sleek and aggressive.

 

i prefer to have my top down, you get noticed more and girls love it too.

if i had one the top would be down most of the time..

 

If its able to come down it's down but I don't mind it with the top up though still looks good! I think!

 

The worst looking third gen is a vert with the top up. The best looking third gen is a vert with the top down. IMO

my plastic window is about **** and its been broken into 3 times now, cheapest ive found is a local shop for $850. if it gets ripped underneath the back seal, like mine EVERYTIME thank ***, i have two words for you....ZIP TIES!

 

I think they look good both up and down. But if I had to choose one, it definitly would be down.

 

I would agree down is better, but I really like the way they look up. It would be cool if GM made hardtop 3rd gens with trunks!

 

Definitly down. I like the way it looks when the top is down. But when it is up it still looks good IMO.

I drive my convertable with the top down always becuase it has no a/c, gets WAY too hot in there during the summer.

Right now though, it's below-freezing temperatures and my top is making wierd sqeaky noises that annoy me so I can't wait till spring...

 

I think they look good either way.

 

Of course with top down, makes it a real head turner

 

I hate verts w/ the top up, but w/ the top down I love it.
