Paint Job
Paint Job
Well, I am about 80% sure that I am getting my car painted in a couple weeks... and i need some opinions...
1) I have the 91-92 z28 high rise spoiler sitting in my house, and was wondering if I should put that on, or leave the 3 piece that I have on there now.
2) I am getting it painted pearl white, so one no more stripes... but then would the car look, uhhh, to plain just solid white. i was wondering if it would be good just like that, or if there was something I could do that would enhance the look.
3) if anyone has any suggestions, let me know... cuz i wanna know what you people think would look good.
thanx in advanced

nothing wrong with a white car
Will you be painting the headlight pockets body colour or black?
As for the spoiler, whatever floats your boat man

Hey 91RSmaro. put the 91 z28 spolier on and get rid of the 3 piece. get the car painted pearl white like u said but for stripes get the heritage stripes but see iff the body shop can paint them on and use Candy Apple Metal Flake Blue. it is a awsum color and hell if i had another camaro or even was repainting my again if it was white i would do what i just told u but i cant tell u do this but its just a little idea i have that i wanna do one day.

That looks sweet! Orange would be cool too!
that neon blue is pretty cool!
i'd like to see a lamborghini yellow or lamborghini orange....those two colors with pearl in it are outstanding. although a little loud for a daily driver.
best part is you can get the exact paint for the same price you would pay for solid black or red.
it's all preference..........search around for what you like and remember that changing the color and making it right is alot of work and costs more than just repainting the same color.

the all white will look great...get rid of door moldings and emblems if you do. as far as the headlamp pockets, i believethat body color will be fine if you have a hard top,but if you have t-tops i would have to say go black even with a little pearl in them. no offence to bubbakutz, your car looks great, but i think if you have the black of your t-tops blackening the light pockets brings the look of the whole car together. I painted my 87 Lt solid and it looked great, but after i built a grill for my bumper i painted it and the lamp pockets black with pearl in them and it brought the whole car together...

Blue heritage stripes on white looks sweet.
Anyway, I would put the spoiler on and tint the windows after its painted.
