Buying new wheels, need opinions.

I think the Weld ProStar XP's would look great on my camaro, but I've never actually seen one with them. Before I buy them, does anyone have a picture of a thirdgen with those wheels?, Dropping $1000 and then finding out they don't look as good as you thought doesn't really appeal to me! Thanks, Steve.

arnt alot of those weld rims for race only use? If they are then i woudlnt use them on road. They arnt designed to take the dynamic loads of going around turns and such. IMO id get a nice set of 16 in. wheels from another 3rd gen. I personally like the way the stock rims look and if im looking to upgrade, thats what ill do.

Really? I didn't know that they could possibly be bad for road use. I never considered that, is all that true about not being able to handle road/cornering conditions?

saw those rims int he summit cartalog as i was browsing through and it looks like theyre meant for road use. Id suggest just taking the pic of them and 'photoshop'ping them on your car to see howd they look.

Drag racing rims are made for drag racing.......that's where they perform best.....

Believe it or not, rims are made different for different uses where they excel...
