well in the US that may be alot, but in austrilia maybe it is a good price...
also note that it IS RIGHT HAND DRIVE.
that surely has to make it somewhat rare.

Yeah, it all boils down to where you're located.
In the US my car would probably sell for something like USD4-5K, while here in Norway it would sell for well over USD30K. I saw an 88 ragtop for sale here in great condition, it was priced at NOK270K, which is nearly USD40K
A regular (as in normal wear on paint, interior etc. and little/no mods) 1987 Z28 would go for around USD14K.
The lowest I've ever seen a 3rd gen over here is right around USD10K

I am an American and I have been living in Australia for 18 years. I am very used to the cars and prices being from America and growing up in the sixties there. It is hard to get used to paying much more for cars over here. That car on Ebay is sort of a typical price in Aust. $. You can get a bomb for $7000 Aust. and up to $24000 Aust. for a very nice car. There really are quite a lot of Yank cars over here and I have owned a 84Z-28 for 4 years. I get a thrill every time I get in it and get a few stares. I have done a few things to it but basically the car is in very good condition. The thing that makes it stand out most is that it is painted Purple Passion (toyota color) and silver inlays. Will sent photos later. Also dont forget the exchange rate. $1.00Us=.59Aust. Fair price for a truly great car.
in Europe you will often find ignorant people calling TTops Targa
just because they d/k and the only "removable" top they saw was the one from 911 and that one is called Targa by Porsche

Why not sell it here, i paid 7900 dollars fro my 88 iroc thats almost three years ago but they still cost alot. A thirdgen in good shape cost even more not to mention if its a convertible.
