Yeah its a really light shade of blue normally.
Any pics yet? I wanna paint mine when I redo my gauges and buy LED bulbs, but if it makes it that much brighter by just painting the reflector plate, I'll hold out on the bulbs for now.

I did that over last summer. I painted the outside silver though. search for a post by James C and you will see his work too. That's where I got the idea to do it.
I hope you used flat white though. I don't remember why, James C's post has why. (I think).
I am using the regular lights too. I don't think you will ever need to go to a brighter one. James C used the Xenon ones and likes those. I just don't see a need to do it though, it's that bright.
I've got some pics on my yahoo site..link's in my sig.

Didnt a guy on this site paint his a highly reflective silver. And another guy wrote back that he couldnt find the highly reflective but painted it a bright color anyway? This guy had pictures to boot. Looked like it would work. I am ordering mine right away and will try that before I change the bulbs.

I used chrome, even though it doesn't really look like chrome, it's a really reflective silver, and I painted the side you can see white. Made it look WAY better at night.
