Chrome TBI single snorkel

Gents,
I did three things today.

1. Edelbrock STB
2. New underhood insulation
3. Put on my standard single snorkel, with chrome!

I also have an Edelbrock 14x3 open element, but I liked the standard look

UK, i like the looks of your chrome lid air-cleaner. I am not a big fan of the stock piece becuase of obvioius perf. reasons, but I like the almost/stock appearing look of yours.

Oh yes indeed! Smart stuff!! Like it, like it a lot.

Where did you get the underhood insulation from? And did you reuse the plastic clips?

I have actually driven my 305 RS 100 miles in the last 4 days!! Thats a total of 140 miles since the engine went in! LOL! Covered in dry salt earlier on, but now clean! At last we have had some good sunny (but damn cold) days this week. And I am on half term as well! Camaro heaven.

Andy.

I still prefer the open element look, but that does look good. one warm day comes along, and everyone goes crazy....

BTW, drove home today with the t's off!

Andy, gongrats on getting the RS running!

Thanks Phil!
When I said 305 RS, I meant 350RS!!! Sorry! How about that, a maths teacher who gets his digits the wrong way round!! Not one fault has surfaced with the car yet either!! How long will that last do you reckon?

Good to hear you are going topless in the Winter. Not very often we get this chance!!

Here's a pic of it out yesterday (outside my inlaws house!).

Andy.
I was playing around really! Just took it to a local chrome shop to see if came out any good!

I got the hood insulation from Usautomotive for about £48, I did ask them to ordew new clips but they forgot, so i had re-use the old ones. Fortunatley, they all popped out quite nicely.

My braided brake hoses came yesterday, so there's another job. I'm only spending money on easy bolt on stuff, 'cus I'm beginning to get the itch for a 350!.

I've also taken a few days off the half term week, and went down to Rugby on Thursday night for the AACUK area rep meeting.
