so i was still wondering will letting the car sit out side and get snowed on hurt it seeing how there isnt any salt in it or anything???

im pretty sure that it would be better to have a car cover rather then letting the elements get a hold of it.. it just makes sense doesnt it? what happens when it melts, it could leave small rust spots or ruin the paint possibly

I always wash my car after it snows or if they have salted the roads. I think that helps it.

I'm just glad I'm in the South no snow here. You have covers for all 4 wheels, I would go to wally world and get a universal car cover and 2 plastic tarps to go over the car cover to protect it from any water or melting snow.

I'd get a car cover. We just had 12 inches lastnight, but I don't care about snow on my Bronco, I plow right through it all as well.

I was coming home from work and I saw people sliding all over the place, trucks going sideways, little cars stuck, people off the road, and I just keep on going in a straight line with my 4 wheel drive, hehe, ya gotta love it!

I leave it in 2 wheeling when I was to do dounuts in the snow of course, only time I can do doughnuts, hehe.

Hey lessk thats cool, I live right off of tyler. Maybe you have seen me around. I drive a 1990rs with a primered fender. We ought to get together sometime. Are you in high school, college, working?

As far as the stupid snow goes it is not going to stop until like saturday. I am sooooo ready for spring.

Oh, and z28monster I like everything but the wheels. I am not a big fan of that three spoke style on anything, much less a camaro. Some people like them though, to each his own.

I have been told certian car covers trap moisture underneath the cover. But snow all over the car seems seems to have the same effect.

When I took off all the paint on my car, in january last year. I had to strip the car out in the open cause I had no shop. I kept a car cover on the car and had 2 huge tarps over that, my car never had any rust. It rained for 2 weeks during the whole strip down and I never had any problems with moisture on the car and inbetween the car cover.

Car covers are great, but they dont let the moisture escape. Particularl noticeable if your car is cold and damp and it warms up outside. Better a car cover than not.

thats a new hood. 85 or newer.
those are good wheels for 35" tires on a jeep.
not big on them for camaro's though, alot of ford trucks around here with them.....
car looks good though!

I think theres something stamped on the underside of the hood. Maybe I'm wrong on that. The junkyard hood that I got had a vin sticker on it too, but since it was added to your car the other person might have taken that off.

The nose could be any year from 85-92. It really depends on the guy that did the conversion, on my car the front bumper is from an 87 IROC, driver rocker panel 87 IROC, and door gfx brand new, passenger door and rocker panel gfx 90 RS, and rear bumper 90 RS, driver and pass rear quarter gfx came from a 89 RS. So theres no telling what is what on the car with out checking the stamped date month and year table on the parts.
