Member's car for sale?

Isn't this one of our memeber's cars? I know I have seen pics of it on this site, especially the one with all the trees. I think he made a trading card with it. I want it, too bad I am broke.

I just looked at that. I cannot believe he is selling it. I still don't like the wheels, they look small and goofy. But my ***, that car. He is going to regret selling it someday.

Hands down the nicest 3rd gen I have ever seen.

I don't think it is the nicest thirdgen I have ever seen, but it comes pretty darn close. My car looks like a heap right now and I am not selling it. I think he will definately regret selling his car too, especially with that fantastic body work and paint.

And also I can't believe he's selling it either, there must be some good reaon for it. That car is incredible, so much work he put into it just to end up selling it, too bad

Yeah thats 86FyrBrd's car. Man is that thing nice, and for all the work done to it, I dont think 11K is a bad price. Oh well, thirdgens will be bought and sold everyday. Who ever buys it will coming to this site and bragging about his new Bird, as he/she should.

yeah yeah yeah, thats me I probobly will regretit. But with college and all I cant afford it anymore between insurance and gas.

I have been borrowing and putting off bills just about every month for the past few, and its starting to catch up. I just figure I'll dump the car, use the money pay off a loan, buy something reliable and easy on gas and then maybe buy some photography equipment, cause I'll be getting into that now.

I've been told 11k is to much, and 11k is not enough. Hopefully I find the rite buyer, there are some people that are interested. 10k is the reserve. I just bumped the buy it now up one more k

I feel for you man. My hopes are that you come into a substantial amount of money that will let you keep the car. Because out of all of us on this site with pride in our cars - you top the list. I can't count how many pictures of your car I have saved on my pc. I still remember the days before all the paint and body work....I'll post a pic that'll prove it. Best of luck to you.

Man am I going to miss seeing pictures of this beast.....

I knew I had seen it before on this site. Sorry that you have to sell it man. I really wish I had $11k to buy it. It is well worth that price in my mind, because of all the work into it not only on the outside but in the engine and in it's performance. I don't think I will ever be able to sell something that I practically built with my own hands.

hey 86fyrbrd, whats up with that buyer of your car? he has tons of negative feedback and is not a registered ebay user. what's up with that?

the guy just got all of those negative feedbacks TODAY within 30 min of each other! his account has been inactive since July 2001, and now he decides to buy sumthing. i think you have yourself a 'no buying bidder'. maybe someone stole his user ID on ebay...

I dunno man, but sumthing smells fishy.

it appears I am the victim of a stolen ebay identity. This blows its gonna take forever to get it sorted out, cost $40 to list $40 if it sells, so I got charged both, since I got screwed I dont feel I should pay either, so I gotta work this out with ebay before I relist the thing. So hey, maybe I'll end up keeping it.

Who knows maybe it was fate telling you not to give up the car yet!

You can get the $40 back for selling it pretty easy but I don't know if your going to get your $40 back for listing it at all, unless you get to talk to ebay directly and work something out and explain what happened. Even then I don't know...

Work some extra hours...... Park the car and drop the insurance for a couple of months till you get the money situation figured back out....

So you don't have to sell the car....

Be prepared to wait a long time to sell it for the price you want. The only person who thinks a car is worth more than blue book is a person who loves that kind of car. And then the second part would be its a person who loves that kind of car, but dosnt want to build his own, would rather buy someone elses completed project. Its actually pretty rare to find both those qualities in a car buyer when you're selling a modified car and asking more than bluebook. Dont expect to sell a car fast if you're going to ask more than blue book (i know you put alot of money and work into it, but its the truth). Nice car though.

If someone wants it, it will be sold. Its just like the 1st gen camaro's, chevelles, old mustangs, and others muscle cars. They are sure a lot higher then blue book

You cant buy a beat up one for cheaper then it was brand new. Unless its a total heap. Or you get lucky.
