Battery Cutoff Switch

For those who have it, where did you put it? I have seen it coming out of Mustangs' tail lights and license plates but can't think of any I have seen on camaros locally. Also where did you relocate the battery too? My car is a street car, so it has the custom camaro sub box and amp in it. Any help is greatly appreciated!

my battery use to be where the spare tire was.....worked well there. i never put a cut off switch because i didn't want to cut up the tail lights or the bumper.

i've seen them installed in either tail light right in the solid black portion as well as on the flat part of the bumper right beneath the license plate.

there are some who have them in the wheel wells or even the lower well on the outside. however, for racing purposes and the real reason you'd want it they must be in plain view for safety purposes.

Like Kandied said, if you're racing it you'll probably have to mount the switch outside. If you just want a way to shut juice off to the battery (like when you store the car for the winter) you can get a switch that mounts right at the battery post.
