Probably a stupid question

Hey everybody, it's been a long time since I've posted on this site. Got kind of a dumb question though. My windows leak air like nothing else. On the highway I can barely hear my radio even when it's turned all the way up. Would changing the weatherstripping work or will I have to adjust the windows also? Oh, and to keep this appearance related, does anyone have pictures of a 4th gen rear on a 3rd gen? I was thinking about doing this swap.

I would guess weatherstripping. How does your current weatherstripping look?

And is it actually blowing in through your windows or is it just noisy?

I had this problem on my 88 GTA and it wasn't the weather stripping! The aft window rail inside the door had come loose. You could wiggle the window about 2" in each direction! Look at your window when you close your door. It should be kind of up inside the weather stripping, not on the outside. Sitting in your car with the door closed and window up, push out on the window and see if you can see space between your window and weather stripping. If you can, then you need to adjust the window. After I fixed mine, it was quiet again. I can barely hear any wind now. Matt

They leak air, I can feel it when I put my hand up to where the noise comes from. They leak water like nothing else too. I'll check and see if they push out a lot. And the weatherstripping looks like 12 year old weatherstripping.
