Anyone polish 4th gen rims??
I have a set of 5 spoke 99 Z rims on my IROC right now (winter tires). They are the silver painted kind. I was wondering if anyone has ever polished a set of these before. Mine are in really good shape but ive always wanted a chrome set. I think if I could polish these like you can polish 3rd gen rims then it would look totally sweet. It should be easy to do too cause there arent a lot of complex curves and cuts like 3rd gen rims. Pics of these rims polished would be sweet. Thanks

polishing that rim would be the same as polishing any other rim. Pretty much just get that paint and clear coat off. Give it a sand down with some high grit sand paper. And then buff away with some polishing compound. I just picked up a set off 98 SS rims and imma polish the lip soon.
