Ok..Pro Polishers Spring break Project!

Hey next weeks my spring break and i was planing on sanding down my rims because they loook like crap..the clear coats like chiping and stuff..now want several opinons on this one..whats the best way to make them look way better and have a little reflection look..plz help pics and thing will help me out..but i have to know what all to get..

As for what to get, I recommend checking out the last link I posted. Using those compounds and wheels will produce the best results rather quickly compared to sanding with every grit imaginable.

Car: NONE! and it SUCKS!
Sand off the Clearcoat, and then Use very fine grit wet Metal sandpaper on the Rims, followed by buffing with a polishing compound. I recommend MAAS, as it is the best metal shining compound I've ever used.

sanding down the clearcoat will take you ages, get some aircraft remover and apply it per directions and one or two coats will get of all the clearcoat on your rims. You're still fairly new so you haven't seen the numerous times this topic has come up, follow the links metallicamaroRS has provided and you'll find everything about polishing things on our cars from rims, plenum, runners, to even cutouts. just do a search and you'll find all your answers. also check out the tech articles
