Tint trimming

I just had my Camaro tinted again and my question is: On the side windows, is the tint supposed to be trimmed right to the edge or is it supposed to have a gap of about 1/8 inch? Is there a chance of the tint rolling up if it goes to the edge?

Take a fresh razor blade and cut it back about 1/8 and inch. It only needs to grab once to cause big problems..

Good tinters can cut it right up to the edge of the window. It doesn't matter what the gap is if you are concerned with it peeling. It won't peel as long as the cut they made is clean, tint was applied right, and the tint was allowed to dry properly. If you had it done by a pro it should have warranty, so don't mess with it. Once you mess with it, they won't warranty it.
