Here are a couple pictures of my freshly painted engine bay. First time ever paintin a car so I'm very happy w/ it. Also the camera caught a shade of pink too :-/ In person it is VERY red.

Heheheheh, that pink looks fairy nice! :lala:

Try little photo editing to clean the color balance up a bit next time to avoid the razzing.

I think Barbie will be really happy when she gets her car back.

Just razzing you. I think it looks very good, all the unthought of details like repainting the engine bay make the complete picture that much better.

Can i ask what type of paint one would use to paint the engine bay to stand up the the heat? Is there any clear coat on that? Looks like it cause of the shine, but i know absolutely nothing about painting cars...

And how you went about painting the engine bay if u dont mind.

I am trying to get together all the info i can about starting a project, and i'll have to paint the engine bay soon enough.

Thanks

I jsut used normal car paint. there really shouldn't be anymore heat in there than when the sun bakes down on your car in da summer.
